For blindingly bright, you need PR Tangerine Dream. It's the real "don't use this in broad daylight without migraine meds and mirrored shades" orange.
I think I might like Orange Crush, but it was darker than I was looking for.

I've never understood why PR gave this ink the name Orange Crush, because it is a darker, brownish orange color. I would have picked a name like Autumn Orange.
Like PR's Fiesta Red and Burgundy Mist inks, Orange Crush seems to get browner over time, once the bottle has been opened. For that reason, I prefer Noodlers Habanero for a true orange ink.

Thanks for the review. I really like this ink (one of my favorites), though it does have a little too much pumpkin and brown when flowing from certain pens (Sonnet). I bought PR's Shoreline Gold last week to get a color that avoids the brown hue and presents a nice pure orange, but I can't seem to use up the OC that I have in the Safari to test it out. That's a goal for the weekend.

Thanks for the review. Now I think I should have gotten orange crush instead of the Noodler's Majestic Orange (Singapore series) which I just got in the mail. That's really bright. I don't think I'll actually use it as a writing ink, but I want to try it as a highlighter.

Orange Crush might be an excellent ink for grading/commenting...hmmm - I'm thinking about getting it.

This ink looks great in my Libelle Vortex (gray celluloid w/ orange swirls). Matches perfectly.

I've been playing with PR's Shoreline Gold. If the darkness or the brown in the Orange Crush gets to you, then give the Shoreline Gold a shot. It's a pure orange (not too bright or pastel) without any of the pumpkin/brown quality of the Orange Crush. Tear an orange in half and look at the color...that's what SG will give you.
Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread. I love the flexibility of having both colors.

Great review! I really like the look of the ink as it goes from a light orange at the top of your letters down to a darker orange/light red at the bottom. Very striking. And now I have added it to my list of inks to get. That Pear Tree Pens ink sampler is looking pretty tasty right now.
