I want to replace the medium nib on my Waterman Phileas with a fine nib. Where can I get one?

Thanks

You can find them on e-bay from "PEN SELLER FROM FRANCE". M. Lewertowski is a member of FPN and has a good reputation.

I second the recommendation of Mr. Lewertowski. I've always found him to be a good and helpful guy who even posts here from time to time. If he doesn't have any, you might want to condiser sending your Phileas to one of the wonderful nibmeisters out there, like Richard Binder or Greg Minuskin.

The NIBS part alone are very expensive, it is perhaps better to buy a PHILEAS Fountain-Pen with a Fine nib, it is aproximatively the same price and you can get the pen for free, J.M.L.

Mr. Lewertowski,

Thanks much. I checked out your e-Bay store...SWEET! Anyway, that sounds like good advice. I'd also want a converter with it.

Back to my question about the nib, how fine is the Phileas fine nib, say, in comparison to a Shaeffer Feather Touch 5 in terms of line width? I have one of those and it leaves just the line thickness I like. I've seen other comments that a Waterman Phileas fine nib is similar to other manufacturer's medium nibs. Would it make better sense to try an extra fine? Is it a fairly robust nib, suitable for everyday use?

Thanks for all the help!
