I know what you guys always say-"if you like a pen then go for it" also "pens are bad investment" and few more sayings that are all very correct.
Never the less when you put sometimes a lot of money on a pen its nice to know it does have a value and if you buy a pen for 100$ and then sell it for close to the same amount thats even nicer.
So from your experience what it the pen maker that his pens keep there value best ?
In my experience the makers that their pens keep the best value are:
Pelikan and Mont Blanc.

Yeah, I'll go with MB but only the limited editions like the writers series, for example.
Pelikans like the ones I bought new in the 70's are selling today on ebay for as much as five time as much as they did then. I don't know if that is keeping value or not though.
Around the same time I bought a Waterman pencil. Around ten years later when they stopped making an eraser for it I traded it for a HR ladies Waterman which is now worth 8 to 10 times what I paid for the pencil. Does that count?
