I've read about an older, lighter model VP. Can anyone confirm the weight of it and tell me what model it is and about when it was made?

The older vanishing point model had a plastic body, had a faceted body, and was slightly thinner than the current model. I believe it was discontinued after 1994.

The pen is indeed lighter than current production vanishing points, but I don't have exact numbers.

The older plastic model weighs 19 grams and the Decimo weighs 21 grams compared to about 30 grams for the standard VP. I have all 3 and prefer the Decimo, it feel as light as the plastic model but much more robust.
