Hi

I recently read from web that sheaffer without 14K mark is steel neeb.

I have many sheaffer without 14K mark on the nibs and some of them are very strong stub nib like steel nib

But I never had doubt about they are real gold

I have though these are 14K even without mark but now I'm confused.

I really cant think my OS lifetime nib is steel just because there is no 14K mark

ANM
Lots of Sheaffers, especially ones made before 1940 were 14k and NOT marked in any way as to the gold content. Lots of Parkers weren't marked for gold content either but they were gold none-the-less.
