HI, I am looking to change a nib - so need an OBB or OB nib feed for 149, now the other thing is a repair issue - I understand there is some adhesive involved (as opposed to Pelikan - no adhesive?).
Thanks for reading thru
Andy

Hey, Badr!

Couple things-

I would post the construction question in the MB forum or ask Lex Villines on Pentrace- he's field stripped a few.

If you have a working feed and just want an OB or OBB nib, send it to Greg Minuskin, but do it before I drop a whole bag of nibs in his lap at the LA Show. wink.gif

I doubt (but cannot verify that) there is any difference in feeds between an XF up to a OBBB for the 149, so if you've got a working specimen, you're probably fine there.

If you have a broken feed? Well, go fish- you miiiiight get lucky on this one on PT, Zoss, or FPN. MB would probably replace a feed for you, but unless it's under warranty, it will run you about $60 standard service fee.

(Note- for $60, I once had every single piece (except the nib) of a 1980s 149 with a busted piston and cracked cap replaced with brand new parts in less than 2 weeks- it's worth looking into.)

Cheers!

Andy
