Hi everyone, newbie here. I am a CS enthusiast, learning more and more of this brand by the day. I wonder if any kind soul here can help me with this. This ebay Seller is selling four CS fountain pen, non of them matches any of the official CS's portfolio. The designs are equal but the colours are not. I am not sure if I am allowed to post a link here, but pls. forgive me if I am wrong.

http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZlad1969 or for example, Item no.: 190194121313

Can anyone kind enough to share your thoughts on this?

Regards, elommal

Hi there!

The pens you are referring to are the model 100 and Nelson edition. They are featured on the web site and here is a short cut to the 'New Products' page: http://www.mvburke.com/newproducts.htm

I am not aware who the seller is and cannot vouch for the products being sold.

I hope this information helps.

Kind regards,

Mary Burke

Hi Mary, thanks for the info. I have been looking at these series for a while. The colours offered are different from the official CS ranges. In fact, the colours seem to be from coming from other ranges, like the 100 series. How odd. Perhaps they can be customised?

Hi Erik,

Many colours can be ordered through Conway Stewart’s bespoke service at a premium charge.

Conway Stewart will be making changes to the regular model colour offerings throughout this year and some colours will be replaced with new resins finishes. I will keep you all posted when the changes are made.

Kind regards,

Mary Burke

In some cases also, eBay sellers may have discontinued colors in a given model; I recently got a NOS CS Dandy in Azure, a pen I'd wanted for years. That said, CS in particular is known for bespoke pens.
