Full Version: My Sheaffer Touchdown Imperial collection

Well, I figured it was about time I took some shots and posted them. Why? Dunno . . . just because. All of the pens are restored and in working order and, naturally, have the wonderful Touchdown filling system. If you have any interest in Imperials at all, you simply must read Jim's (aka PenHero) definitive article on them on his website.

The collection is far from complete, but it's got some of each model in it. Without any further delay, here they are (please excuse the shoddy photography):

Sheaffer Touchdown Imperial Is & IIs

Sheaffer Touchdown Imperial IIIs, a II with a gold nib and a Dolphin, and a Target

Sheaffer Touchdown Imperial IVs and a VI set

Sheaffer Touchdown Imperial VIIIs, a Sterling Silver, and a Triumph Imperial

Enjoy!

Very nice! That is a great collection!

I am more into the original TM pens, but I think the TD filling system was a hit for Sheaffer. I'd even say that it is preferrable to the snorkel, because it is more robust.

You dont know why you posted these pictures.
I know why you did,its because you want to share your joy with people that know how to appreciate a collection of nice pens and the effort and time invested in them.I do the same many times and its great to get positive recognition for my hard work and pens.

I think you have agreat collection.I used to have quite a lot of Imperials but somehow they are all gone now.
These are wonderful pens and wonderful writers.Never the less on a personal note I do preffer the Snorkels.

Where did you find your pen trays? They are different than the ones I've seen on gopens.com.

I snagged a whole bunch of them on Ebay. They work great for storing pens and for segregating them. I have a tray or two for pens awaiting repair, some for pens to sell, etc.
