Does a parker 51 nib fit in any other pen?

Just the Parker 21 Super.... not any other that I know of...

I remember reading here somewhere that the Hero 616 and the Parker 51 nibs are interchangeable. But then you are looking a a steel nib vs a gold alloy one...

I thought it was the Hero 100 which was interchangeable with the 51, but you may be correct. My memory is not what it used to be; besides, I am not planning to swap out nibs any time soon, so I did not file the information in short term, mid term, or long term memory. It just sort of floated around and has not left hte building yet, unlike Elvis.

You may be right, it was something I read in passing somewhere in the FPN, and I have been too lazy to look it up properly...

I bought some gold nibs on eBay that I believe are Hero nibs that do NOT work in the Parker "51". The Hero nibs are shorter. I'll try to get a pic to show the difference. Now, it's possible that these nibs are for a diffferent size Hero--I just don't know....

EDIT: Here is a pic of what I take to be the Hero nib (it has asian characters on it); it's about 2mm shorter than the "51" nib also pictured.

I have a parker 21 super from early sixties having a 51 aerometric nib...... it works fine.
