Howdy all!

Lots of folks have requested some more pictures of my work! Here are some more "recent" nib retips I have done for some clients in the past month or so. Enjoy. Let me know what you think.

Also, someone had asked on this forum for for me to post some "before" and "after" pictures of nib retips or repairs. Please have a look at some pictures on this post of a Pelikan M400 nib, two tone, that a client had spread the tines (before pictures) to get more ink out of the small factory tipping, and is also using a ruler edge, which chewed up one tine. I fixed up the nib shoulders for him in no time and also put on a large stub retip, about 1.4mm ( see the after pictures of the two tone Pelikan nib.) He is a happy camper now!

Your feedback is always welcome, and your business too! thumbup.gif

Here is a picture of Greg's work in a pen ready to use.

I asked for a big stub nib and Greg did the rest. I had the nib in just under a week!

The jewel in the pen and next to the pen is, at the suggestion of SMBaugh, made from brass. I.

The rest of the pen is a Nassau Green aero with a 51. date code and writes like a dream.

Greg, I'm hoping to give you some more Parker "51" nibs to re-tip for me at the LA Pen Show. If I miss you, I'll just mail them. The ones you did last year are just terrific.

I can't take any credit for Todd's cap jewels, but having just broken 3 original ones lately that were--once again--glued in sad.gif , it's great to think we can get replacements beyond the white ones Ariel sells.

Great job guys!

I'd like to add my own recommendation of Greg's work.
I received a used MB 149 (of great sentimental value) that came with a slightly bent tine. By rotating the nib I could get a pretty smooth writing experience, and I didn't want to be without it for very long, so I was hesitant to send it out. Then I heard really good things about Greg's work with fast turnaround time, so I contacted him and sent the pen. Greg received the pen on a Monday, and I got the pen back on Thursday (3 days)!! He
returned the nib to factory specs, and now the fine nib is as smooth as a fine nib can be. Thanks again Greg!

One happy customer, cloud9.gif
