Stormy greetings from Docnib's PenEmporium! Well, the mounds of snow have mostly melted after raining off & on since last night, but another snowstorm is supposed to be headed this way (just went below freezing too!).

Found some more pen goodies to post for sale, some I've had for a while & others just made it thru in a delayed care-package (delayed by the snow-laden mountain passes!). I'll be doing several posts, one or two tonight and hopefully a few more tomorrow, so let's get started...

From left to right...
1) PLATINUM PEN CO. #2 Celluloid Black & Pearl FP w/Chrome-Plated Trim (~4.5" capped), #2 Alloy "Pladium Point" XF nib w/very minor flex & bears the initials of the Founder of the company in a little globe, "S*N," which stands for Syunichi Nakata, pump-filler but doesn't fill...doesn't look like it was ever used so needs new gasket or O-ring, still has wrap-around price tag on barrel, excellent color on cap & barrel w/barely any ambering, crisp imprint, very little wear on metal trim, cap jewel looks like an eye (dark circular center with light area around it), except for not filling, overall condition is "Excellent -"...
PenEmporium Price...$65.00!

2) ((SOLD TO U.A.)) PLATINUM PEN CO. #5 Celluloid Brown Marble FP w/Chrome-Plated Trim (~5" capped), #5 Alloy "Pladium" XF-Flex nib w/great flow, wonderful flex & has the JIS symbol on it (Japanese Industrial Standard) & also has the "S*N" globe logo too, lever filler, has Parker-style clip & cap-band (Vac styling), imprint has some wear but fully readable, has Black cap-jewel, moderate brassing/pitting on all clip, cap-band & lever plating, minor wear to cap & barrel surfaces, overall condition is "Very Good -"...
PenEmporium Price...$60.00!

3) THE RED DWARF INK PENCIL RHR Stylographic Pen w/Eyedropper & Box (~4" capped), Steel tubular Fine point w/flow regulating needle in it, interesting eyedropper filling system...has long BHR feed-tube attached from the bottom of the barrel to near the beginning of the cone shaped nose-piece & then has a needle with a spring-coil base attached to the top of the feed-tube (never seen one with a feed like this & without a free-moving needle, early design?), no visible imprints anywhere on the cap or barrel, but box does have name of the pen, owner's name seems to be "C. Russ" as he or she has written it on the inside of the box top as if testing it out (several times), minor wear & tear to cap & barrel but nose-piece does show some scuffing, cap doesn't post...either made that way or inner cap has worn down a bit, overall condition is "Excellent -"...
PenEmporium Price...$105.00!

4) REMEX FP (sub-brand of Waterman/NY) in RMHR w/Cone-Cap (~5" capped), original Remex 14K nib broken so I've replaced it with a wonderful Waterman/NY #2 Fine to Medium "Flex" nib (perfect fit, I'll include the broken one too!), eyedropper filler, except for nib breaking, this pen shows almost no wear & tear at all & has gorgeous color & pattern (resemble a Wat. #12 ED filler in RMHR), overall condition is""Excellent"...
PemEmporium Price...$90.00!

5) AUTOMATIC Nickel-Plated Squeeze-Filler FP, a very early model...Patent Date of 1878 on the cap-barrel (~4-5/8" capped), long cap slips off from over barrel which has a small rectangular cut-out exposing a thumb filler type of bladder (original "Pigskin" bladder partially intact!), has a 14K Edward Todd "Commercial" dip nib in place over a curved metal feed tube that rests on the underside if the nib, feed & nib have to have miniscule gap between nib underside & feed-tube opening otherwise it will leak, fairly minor wear & tear to finish especially after around 130 years since it was made, overall condition of this important early link in FP development is "Very Good +"...
PenEmporium Price...$375.00!

6) W.S. HICKS & SONS 14CT 'Solid' Gold "Broker's PCL (~3" long), belonged to Jimmy Starr, the famous Hollywood Columinist from the 30's & 40's (came out of his Estate Sale in Phoenix on the 90's, also had a Sheaffer Masterpiece 14K FP/PCL set in pristine condition, but sold it!), twist advance/retract 5.6mm large lead mechanism, no clip, beautifully engraved: TO JUMMY FROM HARRY JIMMY STARR-HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. (you can Google or do Ask.com on Jimmy Starr & will come up with some great info, from his starting as a gopher in the big studios to his rise to fame in the upper echelons of the "gossip" business to his becoming Creative Director of Ramada Inns in Phoenix after leaving the Hollywood scene!), PCL is in pristine condition aside from some miniscule shop-wear...didn' get used that much, if at all, so barely any wear at all, does have WS Hicks logo, overall condition is "Exccellent"...
PenEmporium Price...$450.00!
