Did FPN recently change something, or is there some bizarre setting in my profile that was changed about pictures recently? I don't post pictures often, but wanted to post a couple in the Parker forum today of my "collection," but the sizes allowed are very, very small. This would make me have to post much less detailed pictures (used to be, the software would compress it, but you could still click on it for a full size picture) and have to put them in multiple posts instead of just one post with three or four pictures.

HELP!!

The attachment section tells me I have 4.88 mb used. I can find this under recent attachments in my profile, but I can't find a way to delete them to make room for more.

Ahh, I'm wondering how this works myself. Maybe one of the veteran picture posters can enlighten us.

DOH!!! I found it!

It's in the control panel, on the Menu options on the left hand side (Manage Your Attachments).

I am now having a DUUUuuuuuhhhhhh moment!

I posted with a link to a photo, and the photo had a copyright displayed at the bottom. My post disappeared. Is there a forum policy about this?

No, there isn't. By posting here you give FPN implicitly the right to 'use' that picture, in your own post that is smile.gif, but that's all.

If your post disappeared, it may have happened because of a variety of reasons. The most common mistake I make is to forget to click Add Reply after the Preview, and when I don't forget, occasionally it seems to have gotten through and then it still doesn't show up, either because of a server refresh required (can take up to 6 hours), or because Apache had a problem. We hope to fix the latter RSN (server upgrade).

HTH, warm regards, Wim
