Hi -

Can someone list for me all of the Japanese FM manufacturers? I know that we have Sailor, Pilot/Namiki, and Platinum, but I recall some other smaller ones as well. It would be great if someone could also say a little something about the relative strengths, weaknesses and areas of specialization for each firm.

The mods are working on a complete list of these (plus more) as we speak, and is almost complete.

Now as commenting on relative strength and weakness, this would be user dependent, and model dependent. FP review section can be useful if looking for particular model info.
