I tried to wipe off some black ink on a Waterman 52V RHR with a damp paper towel. A tiny bit of orange came off.
There was only a tiny bit of the paper towel that was damp. When I wiped the pen, the paper towel was stained with orange, just lightly. I think that means the rubber has oxidized due to light exposure.
I read that RHR can't take much rubbing.
Does that mean I should just leave it be - do no cleaning or waxing?

And BTW, what about Black hard rubber pens? Can they be waxed or polished?
