Hi,
I bought a marble blue CS 100 last week from an authorised dealer and am rather bemused to find that the cap band is not hallmarked. Should I be concerned about this? The pen may be old stock as I got it for half price and I am certainly very pleased with it in all other aspects.

Hi,
I thought they were all hallmarked, I have a CS 100 FP & RB and both are hallmarked as is my Duro.
Probably Mary Burke will 'wander' along later and clarify.

Hi,
Under new management, every pen for sale details the Assay Hallmark. I cannot speak for 'old stock' however, I will be pleased to make further investigations if you can advise the identification number on the barrel.
With kind regards,

Thanks very much, Mary. The number on the barrel is 471/012.

I just wanted to publicly thank Mary and Conway Stewart for sorting this out for me. Mary suggested I sent the cap back to CS to be hallmarked, I shipped it Thursday, and it was back this morning all sorted. Now that's service

I have a black and (what looks to be) silver modern CS100. There are no hallmarks on my band either. It's 058/030, which I assume is a very limited run. Can anyone tell me if it is indeed silver on this pen and it is was a special edition to only have 58 pieces?
Thanks

Hi,
The numbers on your pen translate to the colour code // and unit production number. The black model 100 is a regular edition and not limited whether it has silver or gold trim.
I am taking with the UK concerning your issue and will advise an update shortly.
Kind regards,
Mary Burke
