Hello,

I'm looking to purchase not very expensive Parker 51 (say 100, hopefully less). I'm attracted to the cordovan and the blue diamond on the cap. I think gold caps look very nice with it too.
My handwriting is on the small side, so I think fine nib would be good.
I can't do restoration to functionality, but if it needs buffing that shouldn't be a problem.
Let me know if you have something for me.

Thanks

I got a brown vac fill 1948 dated 51. I think it was last quarter, which doesn't make sense to me, because I thought it would be an aerometric filler by then, but anyway, it has a lustraloy cap, gold filled clip, blue diamond, and fine nib. I think the cap might be incorrect for the pen, because they switched over in 1947 to the arrow clip, but who knows what happened to the pen from when it was sold till now. It has a name on the barrel, "T.G. Lamberti M.D." and needs restored, but if you want it, I will be glad to offer it for $60. I'll find out that a last quarter brown vac filler is super rare or something, but oh well, if it goes to someone who likes the pen, and it gives them a wonderful writing experience, then it was worth it.
