Some rare pens have been crawling out of the woodwork lately: Trasparente.
I'll be curious to see how much this one goes for. With my luck lately, it will probably be for a couple of hundred dollars less than I paid for mine a few months ago wallbash.gif . No affiliation, etc, etc. Best,
David

I have noticed more and more italians on ebay as of late. And i will sometimes go to ebay Italia and find even more from the european side of things.
Thats always an outlet one can explore.Grab your handy italian/french/german dictionary and head to ebay.

Yes, I've definitely seen some interesting listings on the various European bays. I haven't bid on anything, but it's only a matter of time. Although my upcoming purchase is going to put a halt to my pen-buying for some time.

It's fun reading the differences in translation in Italian pens in particular (I haunt ebay.it .de .uk and .fr). Some of them are downright funny.

Maybe... blush.gif I've got a birthday coming up, so I'm getting a little help (from a mother who passed this addiction on to me, so it's only fair wink.gif ). I'll be sure to post pictures. Regards,

Well, it ended up going for more than $1000, which is more than I paid for mine a few months ago. I continue to be impressed by how these 2G Tibaldis do on the market.
omasfan
Although the 2nd gen. Tibaldis are - without any doubt - beautiful, the prices they obtain are insane without rhyme or reason.
lterry
And it just sold for just over $1,000 - yikes!
