Hi all,

I've been using fountain pens ever since my handwriting was declared as unreadable back in secondary school by my teacher. Now my writing degenerates into scrawls whenever I pick a ballpoint. I've been through a few cheap pens, a cheap Parker or two and I've sent my battered Waterman into (well deserved) retirement. I fell out of love with my Waldmann and am hoping to receive a Waterman Carene Deluxe soon. In the meantime I'll enjoy browsing the FPN - it's a treasure trove of advice and information.

Welcome, been toying with the idea of a Carene for a while, let us know how you get on with it, have a couple of Watermans, my favourite is a Charleston.
