What brand(s) of carts. will fit into a Pelikan Future besides Pelikan?

The longer, the better, as this pen fits a pretty long cartridge.

This isn't really an answer to your question, but potential users of the pen might be interested. I just got a Pelikan Future and am using a Pelikan converter in it, so far without any problem.

I've been looking for somewhere to mention this as I don't think it merits it's own thread...

Levenger's eBay outlet is selling some international converters for a buck each with free shipping that fit right into my Pelikanos. They're just slightly too long for a Waterman Phileas or Kultur. Since the Future can be a tricky fit for a converter, these may do the truck (or else may not even come close to working right -- I can't say because I prefer the Pelikano to the Future).

ETA: Obviously, Levenger cartridges should fit. I think Levenger is still running what appears to be a clearance deal on their long cartridges.

I have had no trouble using two small international size cartridges in my Future. I have not tried one of the long ones yet.

Hi,

You can use two short internationals, one long international, or a standard Schmidt twist converter.

Does twist handle stick out far enough that the converter can be operated in place? Several retailers have been saying, "one international long cartridge or two international short cartridges only," for this model, ever since it was first introduced.

What makes you think that Levenger carts will fit?

I will let you know if the converters fit - just ordered 4 for other pens. Thanks for the tip on that!

Well, the short Levengers are normal short international size. The long ones have an international end and are slimmer than your typical long international cartridge. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't fit based on what others have said.
