Hello! smile.gif
I recently got into fountain pens again after my first experience a few years back when I bought a $30-or-so Inoxcrom pen. Now I'm looking hard for a higher quality pen, preferably something with a reservoir instead of a cartridge/converter, but still not too expensive. I'm leering at Pelikan's entry level pens, the M200 and the M215. Got the impression the Pelikans could be a better choice than the Parkers and Watermans in the same price range.. and the Pelikans are piston fillers, which I prefer to removable converters.. but still not sure. Aah, decisions.. hmm1.gif

Welcome!

You will find enough information here to delight and confuse you - half the fun, I think! rolleyes.gif

Thanks!
I just ordered a Pelikan M 200, I guess I will not be disappointed with it! After thinking long and hard about it, I figured it would be better to go for a lower price pen with good reviews (like the M 200), and wait until my and my wife's planned trip to New York if I want to buy something more classy! Good the $ is low! biggrin.gif

Ah - yes!

With the current exchange rates, it's very hard not to go crazy with the credit card. I just keep thinking about all of the money I'm 'saving'! roflmho.gif

Maybe next time I go to St Petersburg I'll watch out for some russian fp:s just for fun! If they follow the russian tradition for quality (my apologies to any russians taking offence) it will most likely be "cccp", cheap crappy copy-pens laugh.gif , but maybe I'm wrong..
This one looks nice with the imperial double-headed eagle (At $3,900 it's a bit over my limit, though..):
