Very cold Wednesday evening greetings from DocNib's PenEmporium! Crisp, cold & cloudless skies tonight, what better time to stay inside a warm house & peruse & buy Sheaffer "Goodies" on the FPN Marketplace! As promised, here is Tray #2 from my 2nd Sheaffer Mania Sale of this new year...
Well, I ran out of time tonite, so here's a quick list with pricing & condition...will complete the more detailed descriptions tomorrow...
1) ((SOLD TO R.A.)) Balance Std. Size FP, Ebonized Pearl Inlays w/GF Trim, some darkening on inlays, 14K Fine Lifetime nib, "Very Good" condition...$65.00
2) Balance Std. Size PCL, Ebonized Pearl Inlays, good color, small gap between flattened clip ball & cap, "Very Good -" condition...$30.00/REDUCED TO $25.00! (almost a match to the one above but no GF band)
3) 875 Std. Size FP in Carmine Red Celluloid w/GF Trim, vacuum filler but needs new packing or gasket (doesn't fill), 14K 2-tone XF/F (right in the middle) nib, beautiful color & condition of the cap & barrel surfaces, "Very Good +" condition (would be excellent if filler worked!)...$60.00/REDUCED TO $50.00!
4,5) Tuckaway "Autograph" FP/PCL Set in Black w/14K (Solid) Gold trim (except for PCL nosepiece, which is GF for some reason, but unscrews easily if you have a spare 14K one), Autograph bands are un-engraved & clean, 14K "very" XF Lifetime Triumph nib (almost a neede-point), vacuum filler but needs new packing or gasket (doesn't fill), cap & barrel surfaces on both are in excellent condition w/one tiny mark on barrel below Gold band on FP & a few micro-scratches, PCL also has the letters "SA" imprinted under the standard Sheaffer imprint (South America?), "Very Good" condition on the set...$90.00/REDUCED TO $70.00!
6) ((SOLD TO J.R.)) 444-0 Brushed Steel Triumph FP w/Chrome-Plated Trim, NOS w/minor shop-wear, Stainless Steel "Medium" inlaid nib, C/C fill (comes w/squeeze converter), still has Black price sticker on cap (original price was $10.00, circa early-90's), "Excellent" condition...$30.00
