Permit me introduce myself... my name is Brent and I live in Raleigh, NC. I took a fancy to a Parker Sonnet while I was in college, and it was all over after that. My collection currently includes: Parker Sonnet, Namiki Vanishing Point, Phileaus, Lamy Safari, Shaeffer PFM (Binder-ized), a no-name Waterford (no not Waterman), and a Mont Blanc 149 (also Bender-ized).
I fancy straight razors, home-brewed beer, esperanto and moleskines - among other eccentricities. After lurking for a time (due to the registration problems, Thanks! Admin) I'm looking forward to contributing to the group. See you around.

Welcome, Brent, from a fellow resident of Raleigh. There is not much here in the way of pen shopping, I'm afraid, but there is a Triangle Pen Club that meets every other month in Durham (next meeting in February, I think) and a pen show in Cary in June.
