First, re-posting an oldie:
Copper and aluminum guard (neck-chain) for ringtop pens. A 35" loop goes over your head, and a 2" tail in front has a copper lobster clasp that holds the pen. The aluminum's lightness makes it nice and comfortable. ^_^
Second, a cigar box pen-chest with my custom slotter trays:
A pretty black "Cojimar Vanilla-Sugar Tip" box holds two trays, each of which holds 11 pens for a total capacity of 22. The latch works nicely, but one of the front corners had some damage. I decoupaged the box's guarantee seal over it, but here's a closeup where you can see the gap and the slight "underbite" it gives the box on that side:
And last, another cigar box:
This one originally held Partagas cigars in their "Humitubes", and comes with its own original flocked plastic 10-slot tray. The slots are about 3/4" wide by 7 3/8" long, so enough to hold very big pens! The box is the more usual paper-covered wood (rather than the all-wood type I usually get). It does have a snap-button clasp in front, but when I got it the clasp was a bit rusty. It's still stiff and there's some discoloration to the surrounding paper; see the inset in the pic for detail.
