I have always liked pens, mainly Parker pens that I would fill with gel ink. In the building where I work, there is a Paradise Pen shop that I walk by every day, and it started to make me curious. So a couple weeks ago I took the plunge, bought an inexpensive pen (Padrino Breve) and some ink and started.

So I found this website, did some more research, and have another pen being sent to me already (Taccio Doric). So now that I've followed the fountain pen rabbit down the hole, I can't wait to start building a collection.

Greetings, welcome to FPN. There is talk of trying to get a pen club going in Colorado. If it works out, maybe we'll meet there.

I did see the poll about the pen club, and I think it's a great idea. I'm pretty new to the area, moved here from Milwaukee in September, and I would love to meet some people that share common interests. And I work at the Tabor Center, so I take the elevator up to work everyday and walk by Paradise at least twice. Very tempting!
