The beautiful gold Waterman's Safety Pen got me looking for information on mine. I did a search and could nof find the patent date (May 23.1899 & Aug 4, 1903) or model number (442 1/2 V) It is clad with a sterling cut out pattern. Anyone have any input on this pen?

First catalogued iirc in 1908 Waterman's Safety Pen ran through the 1930's. Sterling filigree puts that extra "4" before the 42 1/2V code which encompasses the Safety model and size issues.
