Good evening everyone my name is Francis. I am a 14 year old collector who has quite a prolific collection for my age. I went to the London pen show. If anyone has any very nice parker fountain pens for a price they think is reasonable can they please contact me on this forum and email me at:
footy_man_fran@hotmail.com
Also could people please tell me, other than email, how to contact Bernard Bernolet as I want to telephone him.
And I would also like to contact Regina Martini(by email or telephone) Thank you very much everyone who helps.
I would very much like to negotiate agreement regarding the selling and trading of pens.
Best Regards

Hi,
Welcome to the forums, I also went to the London Pen Show and hope it will run again this year, as I didn't really spend long enough there last year.
Looking at the title of your post, you seem to have got quite a collection for somebody so young, how long have you been collecting and how many pens have you got.
Anyway you will find lots of useful information on this site.
One tip though, if you haven't already done so, if you are interested in buying/trading/selling post on Marketplace that's where most people will look and for trading tell others what you have to trade. condition etc.

Welcome to the FPN and great to have a young member on board who is so into the pen world!
Just as a cautionary note please have your parents oversee any dealings you have online with people.
My main cocern is that you may well fall foul of someone financially and I would hate that to happen.
The more sinister side of life is that someone with other motives may latch on to your interest and use it as a way tomake contact with you.
The people on here are 100% and will guide you but outside of here other less honourable people lurk....
Any questions run it by this site first.
Welcome again.
Ian.

Thank you both for your replies, for your comment Andy I shall mention the condition but i was just giving examples of just some of the pens I have. When someone shows specific interest I shall mention the condition, usage e.t.c. I wouldn't have thought you missed too much though although it was an excellent pen show. It will be on this year as well. But this was the first pen show of its kind in London.
For your reply Ian I have my own savings account and only notify my parents when an offer has been made. I know about the nasty side of business as both of my parents have experienced it. I have made sure that this is the only pen forum site I have used as I haven't seen any negative sites from the topics I have seen and there seem to be genuine buyers.
Its greatly appreciated that people acknowledge my collecting interest in fountain pens.
At a question are you both willing to trade or sell pens of my interest

Hi Frankie,
Nice to meet you. Might I first say - Welcome to the Fountain Pen Network. Then, may I compliment you on your use of a keyboard. I don't know many people these days who can type like that. I generally find those of teenage years generally fill their forum posts with leet-speak and keyboard shorthand and a billion other things, that inhibit reading, rather than making it easier to read.
So you're a 14-year-old (British?) male with a nice big pen-collection, eh? How big are we talking about? When I was 14 my collection was non-existent. At the time, I was purely a FP-user. I have now branched into collection in the last two years. (I'm 21, if you're curious).
Hope to see you poking around the forum nice and often. I think I'm going to like you already

Thank you very much everyone for your kind offers and welcomes. I really feel at home at this website. Indeed I do not use slangal language to type as I do not really understand the purpose of it. Yes I am English. And I have around 70 fountain pens in my collection. I am sorry I haven't said this before, but all the pens I wish to buy need to have the original box, guarentee and warranty(optional) Please keep the messages coming as i love reading what people have to say.
Kindest Regards

so just to clarify. You are 14 years old with a 70 pen fountain collection worth £20,000 ($40,000 ish) and you want to buy or trade for some more but they must be boxed with all documents.
Okay then. I have :
1. A dipped only Pelikan Majesty with a med nib. Boxed and totally as new. Buy or trade.
2. A Waterman Edson LE with a medium nib. Boxed and in stunning condition. Buy or trade.
3. A MontBlanc 147 traveler with a fine nib. Boxed and as new. Buy or trade.
4. A MontBlanc 144 solitare in barleycorn. Boxed and unused. Buy or trade.
I await your response.
Thanks,
Ian ( Manchester UK)

If you have something to sell, please list it with photos and a price. If you're after something specific, please tell us what it is. Maybe I'm an old cynic, but there's something fishy about this discussion...
