About 9 or 10 years ago I started making books without words on my kitchen table. It then migrated to include the living room and the garage and.... well, basically it just got out of control. I had to move.
Then I got my first fountain pen. They take up less space.
Then I met this woman from Belgium who had all of these old fountain pens and nib kits she used in school growing up. How could I resist. I married her.
This Christmas she gave me a new Namiki Vanishing Point LE Orange pen.
Shortly after that I heard about FPN and signed up a few days ago
This is a wonderful place!!!
All the knowledgeable and passionate people are a very welcome and refreshing extension of my own passion for paper and pen.

Welcome to FPN. You live in a great city. My wife and I had our honeymoon there. We loved it. I'd live there in a minute if I could get work there.

Wonderful bio, Arthur!
I'm glad to see you here.
Cool to see you in Santa Fe, too. I tend to avoid Seattle like the plague (no offense to Seattle-ites, it's a personal thing).

I'm just waiting for a yellow Vanishing Point that my boss is picking up for me this week on a trip to Japan. Perhaps we can compare notes (or note-taking

)
