I'm a beginning fountain pen user and I got my eyes on the Sheaffer Agio in pale pink since it's a pretty color, it's slim, and it's afforable. Does anyone own this pen or know about this pen? Is it a good pen to start out with? Any problems? Thanks!

Hi,
Might be good. The Agio compact only accept cartridges though. The Agio accepts converters.

Thanks! I think I'm going to give it a try.

I have one Agio. I'd recommend getting the fine nib if you want a line that is between fine and medium, or even just medium when compared to some pens.

I had an Agio. It was a very good writer, mine is a medium. It puts down a wet line more like a broad nib. Too small for my hand, I gave mine to my daughter. She loves it. I think the Preludes are a better value, but they are larger and heavier. If you like a slim pen, go for the Agio.
