At last I finally updated all the reviews. I apologize for not doing it sooner. The holidays really blindsided me this year and with work being busy and being a family guy, I really dropped the ball on it. I will make a pledge to not let it get out of hand again, God willing!!
Anyways, I noticed a few interesting trends here on the Review Section.
Looks like Pencraft gets the award for the best upcoming pen manufacturer. I dont know too much about Pencraft other than people here are very happy with their product.
The Best Value Pens seems to go to Lamy (as usual) and to
Huashilai Haolilai Hero and Duke.
These are my observations and I am sure yours will differ!!!
Anyways. with all the penshows coming in 2008, I hope to see more of your reviews here to show off what you all got!!!
As usual, if there are typos, send me a PM and link to the review!!!
Thanks for your patience

Thank you!
The index adds significant value to FPN and I always use it to find any reviews before buying a pen.
Your efforts are much appreciated.
Regards, Myles.

I am impressed with the index and awed by the persistence required to do the job. Truly a valuable resource for all of us fountain pen loonies!

It's about time you stopped snoozing on the job and got to work!

It's good to see you back around the place, buddy!
Take care,

I didn't notice your absence on the Reviews as much as I noticed you weren't hanging out, posting, and having fun here. Organized reviews are great, but it's time to get your priorities back in order
Hope all is well,
Andy

TNS, you're great!!
Grinding through and organizing these reviews must surely be tedious, but the result is WONDERFUL!
Thanks for everything!

Thanks a lot TNS and thanks to all of you that make the effort to review the pens that come into your hands. I always read the reviews before I buy any pen and they have often lead me to pens that I have never heard of.
We all benefit from this service so why not write a review on your latest pen. No excuses now!!

Thanks for the kind words. As you can tell, life can get a bit crazy especially right around the holidays!!! To tell you how far behind I was, it was 3 pages worth of reviews. For me, that is about 5 hours of going through all the reviews and then posting them on the index. At times I had to move posts that have nothing to do with reviews, that takes even more time, if you know what I mean?? Regardless, the job is done, now I have to stay on top of it!!!!

If it weren't for this site and it moderators. I'm sure I would not have be able to learn as much as I have through the contributions of all the members. Thank you for maintaining such a fantastic forum.

Thanks, TNS. I want to make a motion for the FPN membership to vote to double your pay!
Seriously, thanks for all the work, and please don't ever feel you need to apologize for spending time with family, especially around the holidays.

Thanks for the update! Besides being buried with work, etc. it's awfully hard to sit inside at the computer when we've been having such glorious weather here on the Central Coast

Can't believe I went to work today in shorts and t-shirt...
