Diplomat, you have the Celestial Blue Aurora Talentum, I am so jealous!
What is the last pen on the right in that nice green material?

Yes, it's a nice color isn't? And a wanderful nib too...
The last one is a Marlen 21 Marbled green. A small but heavy pen. Button filler.

You have a nice selection too! I especially like the Deltas and the grey Omas. It's a Milord? ACS system?

Thanks and ciao.

That is an Omas Pragon Milord old-style in gray with HT trim, piston fill, with a .55mm italic nib by Mottishaw.
Here is my review of it:

I had never wanted a Marlen before, but that green pen is beautiful!

Wow, sbroglia... those Etiopia looks like new!
Interesting the Internazionale: it shows where the Optima cap band come from.

Just one question about the Snowhite: how come the movie is from the 1938 and the pens are from the 20s? The dwarf shape looks exactley like the one in the movie!

Thanks for sharing these.

Snowhite model appears on Aurora catalogs on 1939, I'm sure Mr Sbroglia meant late 1930 thumbup.gif

Ok, it's clear now. As for being cruel: go on, I'm a masochistic pen addicted.

Ciao e grazie,

Andre

in my modest opinion Aurora have in its background the largest quantities of patents, models, history and a marketing strategy still today inpressive...

sbroglia, you do have an enviable collection of vintage Italian pens, no question. I think I like the Snow White ones best -- they were so unexpected!

+1 on both of those statements. Now that I've seen the Snow White pens, I think I may have a new one to add to my list. I want one of those with a dwarf on the clip. Those are cool!
RedRob
SBroglia, thank you for these beautiful and interesting pictures and congratulations on such a collection. It's the Doria Pamphilj of fountain pens.

You have to get in touch with someone like Andreas Lambrou and have these pens feature in a collectors book. Please.

My new Visconti Divina Proportions

sbroglia
thank you so much for appreciating those!
I see many interest on the Snowhite, but the Mickey Mouse is , in my opinion, stunning in the same way.
You need to know that Isaia Levi (Aurora's founder) was a good friend of Walt Disney, that's why in the late '30 an italian pen maker manufactured those !
And the most striking: those were students pen!!!

Hi guys,

I'm really enjoying seeing all these gorgeous Italians.

I only have three, but they are all special to me, much used, and loved.

They are all Viscontis...a Ragtime I Blonde, a Voyager Honey Almond, and this Palazzo Ducale di Sassuolo

For over twelve months, the Palazzo has been a grail pen...and now it's mine. Talk about worth the wait!!!!

Visconti is my favourite modern manufacturer.
I collect them since the beginning and they manufactured the most beutiful celluloid contemporary pens!! thumbup.gif

Beautiful pens, Stefano puddle.gif

Any chance of listing 'em Snow Whites and Mickeys for sale? You've always been on my list of favorite sellers and I do check regularly vbg.gif

Keep 'em beauties coming thumbup.gif

I'm feeling a bit embarrassed to put up the pictures of my own Italians here, after seeing the pens in this thread. I'm waiting for my Millennium Arc Blue to return from repairs from Visconti and the Tabo V that's on the way before putting them up here

So far I particularly enjoyed the pic of the Asterope, do you have more? maybe showing the inner mechanism?

Thank you so much for your efforts!

Beautiful, thank you.
For a moment I saw two size of it and I was puzzled, but then I noticed the scale was different too!

Pilot VP: beware! there's another vanishing point that holds more ink than you do...

Thank you very much. I really enjoyed the music this morning.

Andre
sbroglia
dear Andre,

the VP is a nice pen but this is another mechanical....
only few of those are known and who sold those in the past made 12k euro

Stefano, what size is the nib on that Omas Lucens that you posted yesterday afternoon? Is that a #5 or #6, or something different altogether?

vintage omas nib are only 3 sizes:
-lado on the lady7small pens
-standard on the standard sizes
-large on mostly the oversize pens

on that lucens I think I posted a standard because the stainless omas nib are most rare than pens and I have found probably 3/4 of those in my life and having only 2 I posted the large is on an extra lucens tortoiseshell
sanpei
How about italian double nibbed pens???
I love them, unfortunately are very very rare,
Stefano stupiscici!
I'm starting to show some Zerollo's and one Itala.

Speaking about double pens, do you have the colorado too? How much can be worth?
