Hey all!
It seems that the inevitable has happened.. my pen addiction has given way to repair/restore tasks. I'm new to this in every way, and I have no stock of parts at hand with which to affect these repair/restorations.
I have before me an Esterbrook, and it appears to be an LJ, as it is closer to 4.25inches in length, rather than the 5inches of the J model. Double-jewels, if that helps place this thing in time.
All my component parts look good except the sac and the J-bar/pressure bar combination (looks like two pieces of metal tacked together). I have found a source for sacs, so I'm in good shape there. But, since these things, I understand, are no longer manufactured, a repairperson is left to search for J-bar mechanisms.
SO, is there anyone with either a J-bar for this model pen, or a busted up old LJ they would be willing to part with for my salvage needs, that I could acquire by gift/trade/sale/barter...
OR, could you direct me to someone that might?
