I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a manufacturer of ring binding mechanisms. Specifically, I'm looking to have some ring binding mechanisms of various ISO paper sizes custom made, with rings on 25mm centers, preferably made out of non-magnetic stainless steel, aluminium, or titanium, or some other non-corrosive metal. I'm not sure where to even begin looking for such a thing. I'm considering going in to business making custom organizers.

I think I would be in the "Thomas Directory" looking for a manufacturer of ring binders. I'd think a good search there would turn up the information needed to locate your possible supplier .

Talas sells fasteners/ring binding supplies here:

I hope they have the size you want. If not, say so as I think I can find other suppliers.

I thought of that myself, but of course I don't happen to have a set of the Thomas books available, though I do know where I can get access to one.

Bensons is a large manufacturer of ring binding mechanisms. Their minimum order is one case which is anywhere from 50 - 150 rings, depending on size. But the mechanisms are pretty inexpensive... more so than you might think.

Here is their number: 800-221-1024
