What is the proper packaging for this pen? Also, is the clear plastic/ soft touches as durable as the Phileas?

Proper packaging? Do you mean what packaging was included with the original retail presentation?

I don't know.

The soft touch is just as durable as the clear. They are both vulnerable to scratching, but in different ways. I had an orange soft touch and I thought it was pretty tough!

Hmm, I've seen lots of blister packs on ebay that do not have the proper waterman logo

They look to me like an attempt to capture a youth market. I bought two in this sort of packaging, and they seem legitimate enough.

You can find them in two packaging:

In blister (usualy for the supermarket like CARREFOUR in france and probaby WALMART in USA), and in WATERMAN boxes on the pen-shop. J.M.L.
