Full Version: Loose Decimo trim ring

The trim ring on the clicker end of my Decimo is loose and actually pops up a couple millimeters from the spring force when the nib is retracted. The pen works fine and the loose ring is the only defect I can see. I was thinking of using CA glue to secure it, but thought I'd ask here first. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Is glue how that part is originally fastened? I have the old plastic one, and it's not like that. I have unscrewed the brass collar and pushed out the button before. Can you look inside to see how it's supposed to be? Oh, and something is keeping it from falling off?

Doesn't look like there is any glue holding it on. It may be a friction fit. I have not tried pushing out the clicker button, nor do I really want to out of fear of further messing up my pen. I can try to post up some photos later tonite.

Hi,

Last I checked, it was a screw-in ring for the Decimo.
