First of all, hope this is the right forum for my question. I just want to know if anybody have experience (good or bad) dealing with the ebay seller "lewertowski". He is based in France, and sells Waterman Hemisphere pens at prices roughly 40% lower than what I have seen elsewhere. He has a massive positive feedback rating, but just want to be sure.
Here is a
link to the pen in question.

Mr. Lewertowski is an excellent ebayer and very pleasant to deal with. And he is very knowledgable about pens, contrary to a lot of other eBay sellers.
He is also a regular on this forum.
I bought a couple of pens from him (and another one last night), and he is highly recommendable.
Best regards,
Jarno.

I just received a new Waterman Kultur demonstrator from him. He seems to be a good seller based on the single purchase I have made with him so far.

You cannot go wrong with Lewertowski. I've bought a number of Waterman's from him over the last three years with no issues whatsoever.

Lewertowski comes highly recommended by me. I have purchased a few Waterman's from him and found the service to be prompt and efficient.

Mr. Lewertowski has always delivered exactly what I purchased. Shipping time (from France to Canada) is usually less than it takes to get stuff from "South of the Border" in New York or California. Well-protected padded shipping envelopes usually hold the pens and boxes. I would not hesitate to recommend this gentleman as a seller.
He does post here from time to time, as well.

Probably don't need another testimonial but here we go anyway!
He's a great seller. I've made several purchases through him. If anything goes wrong (however unlikely!) you can rest assured that he won't ignore you just because he's already got your money. Packages well, items are as described, shipping and handling charges are excellent, and he ships ASAP.
Can only endorse everything that has already been said. On the purchases I have made Lewertoski has given excellent service

Good, I think I have found my future pen supplier

Now I just need to decide if I want to go for a medium or fine nib. I have heard that the medium nibs tend to be a bit broad. Anyway, that is another discussion, for another forum.
Thank you all for your feedback

I'll go with the rest. Great seller. Choose the fine. The fine is more broad than most fines.

I've got more Carenes incoming from him - been buying from him ever since he walked me through my first foreign currency Paypal transaction years ago. No affiliation, just a really happy buyer.
If you go up to the Waterman forum and post your question[s], you'll get definitive answers.
Can't help you with nib advice. I'm a B lover.

Only bought one item from him so far (oh, and you might see folks around here abbreviate his full name with "JWL")---a Parker Frontier---but the service was fast and friendly, so I would recommend him as an eBay seller.

Don't be so hard on yourself - I'm sure you'd be an A+.......
(sorry, couldn't pass that one by)
BTW, what do you do when you need to take notes on something - switch to a finer nib, or just use lots of paper?

I just got my three pens from him today, two Waterman Grads and a silver kultur. This is one of the better ebayer's I have seen in a long time.

I bought a Carčne from him recently and it wasn't quite what I wanted....not his fault at all, I'd just never seen & held one.
He was quite willing to take it back for a refund...as soon as this is processed, I am sure I'll get another pen from his huge selection(and will probably spend more than I originally did!).

I bought a Duofold Centennial jade from Lewertowski several years ago and it was a very good experience. Nice priced item, quick delivery and good communication. I will buy again.

My experience exactly. Not only that, but the pen I won, I won at 1 EURO, and he treated me as if I'd just made a $1000 purchase. 100% class act, all the way, can't say enough good things about him! --L

I have bought three items from him so far and each transaction was exemplary.
As far as what he is selling is concerned, I doubt that there is a better seller on eBay.
Given his fantastically high rating, I am a little surprised that you feel the need to check up on him through this network.

That's OK. Newbie questions are GOOD. Better we answer questions than have miserable people struggling with lousy pens and dealers.
And B nib lovers don't have to put on funny little glasses and hold their paper at arm's length to read their own writing.

Not a problem.
I think that Jarno's response to you was pretty spot on. My latest purchase from him was a new Parker for my daughter. When I found that he was selling the right model, I chose him because I knew that the transaction would be perfect. Add to that the fact that he is also courteous and you have someone who deserves to be successful on eBay and who can most certainly be trusted.

Just thought I would give you all an update. I managed to win auctions on a Waterman Phileas (black GT, fine), a Waterman Graduate (Black, fine), and a Parker Frontier (medium). Everything arrived 4 days after payment was made, in beautiful boxes, everything completely satisfying. The Phileas even came with a converter.
So, thank you all for your responses, and I have now found my future pen supplier

I, too, won one of his auctions. I am still waiting for the package to arrive. The holiday on Monday means I'll have to wait an extra day. Still with his feedback on eBay and all the positive comments in this thread, I'm not worried. I'm just anxious to get my new Waterman Graduate.

Not as far as I'm aware. What do you want to do that you can't do through Fleabay?? He is 120% reliable and efficient, has always answered my queries (through the ebay system) extremely quickly, but he has very strictly applied (but fair) rules regarding number items bid on at any one time, et cetera.
