Here is a photo comparing FPN Dumas Tulip Noire ink with Private Reserve Arabian Rose ink, using the same type of pen.

The Tulip is darker while the Rose flows better. I like them both.

Arabian Rose is my most used up ink, just behind my black Quink which is just about gone.

I've been neglecting my Arabian Rose since I got Tulipe Noire. Might need to fill something with it.... hmm1.gif

ArabianRose is first PR ink I purchased, and I've ever loved it. Thanks Pep for comparison.

Ohh... Nice comparison. I love both of them, heheh. Thanks.

Looks like the 78g provides a good amount of flow that gives the ink some nice shading. Thanks!
Deirdre
Wow, I really like them both too.

artaddict,

Seeing the Arabian Rose in your comparison was all I could stand. I picked up a bottle last week. A very interesting ink. I am not disappointed!!!

Thanks for the comparison.

I like my Arabian Rose, but being a leftie over-writer I've also experienced its tendency to dry slowly and smear easily. Now I place a Kleenex or other blotting paper over freshly inked areas so as not to smear the beautiful color all over the page (and the heel of my hand).
