Full Version: reducing ink flow on Sheaffer Prelude
The Fountain Pen Network > General Pen Topics > Repair Q&A

I've had good luck with Preludes but I have one that writes like a paint brush in all kinds of ink. I'm reducing the ink flow.

Does the nib section pull out - or screw out. Parkers screw out but I can't recall what the Sheaffers do.

Thanks in advance for all on the board.

The Prelude nibs pull straight out. But you're likely to have better luck adjusting the NIB than the feed. Since the feeds are plastic, they are what they are. Close down the spacing between the tines.
