Hi everyone,

I'm looking at a Monteverde Cambria Black Knight...I know it's discontinued, but I'm considering picking up a F at an attractive price. It looks really classy, but I have no way of handling it in person, so I'm throwing it out there to the FPN mavens who may have real-life experience with this pen to share.

Thanks...
Dr.Grace
There was another thread about the Cambria recently. I have two of them with M nibs that I carry around with me everywhere (grey flake and blue swirl acrylic finishes.) They're very reliable, smooth writers. They don't leak and they start up every time. Plus the styling and finish are quite nice and reminiscent of vintage German pens (although these are C/C fillers, not pistons). The only downside is that if you like to post the pen, you have to push the cap on a little more snugly than usual. But that's not a big deal for me.

Ditto. Smooth writer. Reliable. Nice balance. Relatively large nib (which I like). Relatively large pen (MB 146 size class, if I recall).

Thanks for the comments...I think I'm going to pull the trigger. I definitely don't need more pens, but I'll rationalize this one as, "geez, I'll feel horrible if I let this one get away forever...". wink.gif
