I was at ALDI today (having received their weekly e-mail of offers) and picked up a thermal binding machine for £14:99 and a couple of packs of thermal binding covers (50 per pack) at £4:99 each.

This may be suitable for someone to make their own FP friendly notebooks, I shall be using some templates from the net and 120gsm paper to put together some pads for use at the university.
