This is one on my Baron Style Pens with Black Titanium hardware....
The Black TN is not nearly as dark as the picture show is.... it is actually halfway in color between the color of the side of the clip and the color of the finial...
More of a smoky silver color... very attractive
The wood on this one is Gmelia Arboria Burl... it has an olive cast with golden highlites running through it... the finish is a semi-gloss...

This is a macro pic of the standard nib that is available on my pens... made in Germany, but I don't know what nib company is making them... this nib is right out of the kit, no tuning or tweaking done..... but I found about a minute or two of curly q's on a piece of brown paper bag and they are smooth as silk....

This is an example of the nid writing.... they are marked as Medium... the paper is 4.25x5.5"

Griz,

can't see the underside, but from what I can see of the top of the nib, that looks like a fine nib. Ball is well fomred and symetrical, and the slit is centered. Assuming the underside is shaped appropriately, I'd say it is very workable!

IPG is a common engraving, and may put some on edge as not only are some german nibs marked as such, but a lot of Asian nibs are marked IPG as well. Looks like a fine nib.

Kendall,
Here is a macro pic of the top and bottom of my everday working pen.... standard nib on this one.... was going to replace it with a solid gold one, but it just writes so nice I can't see any way to improve it....
