OK Denis, you need to spill the beans. biggrin.gif What did you do? Did you tape up the pattern on the bottle and then sanded the cap and the rest of the exposed glass?

Make a limited batch and sell the stuff. Christmas is coming! laugh.gif

Tape, glass etching cream (chemically attacks the glass... not good stuff to spread on a bagel), and acrylic paint for the cap (several layers of different colours, and brushed to give a vintage sunken Titanic look biggrin.gif).

You could. Maybe you should. Or maybe you should team up with a pen retailer, like Swisher or Levenger, and make a whole bunch of them. They will each become unique by you throwing tape on the glass however way your mood strikes. Use slightly different colors each time on the cap. Et voila. You have your custom vintage look Waterman ink bottle: $50 a pop, 10% of which goes to me for drafting "the business plan." laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif A few posts on the boards, a review here or there, and they might actually sell. laugh.gif
Denis Richard
For 10%, you'll have to finalize the deals with the retailers biggrin.gif
