That depends on what you want to achieve. With many Omases, the section is actually screwed into the barrel, so for cleaning or piston lubricating purposes I would attempt that first.

Reassemble with the tiniest bit of silicone grease on the threads.

If you need to do something to the nib and/or feed, yes, they can be pulled out. However, you may need some special non-hardenng resin to make the friction-fitted nib and feed ink- and airtight again. This stuff is called rosin, if I am not mistaken. Maybe a little silicone grease is good enough, too, but I have never tried this myself.

You can get this stuff from Giovanni, Tryphon.it, f.e.

Hi Wim,
I know from an OMAS 1930 (the small model) that i can screw the section out of the barrrel. But until now I have been unable to get the section of my celluloid Paragon to move, and I cannot see a seem between the barrel threads and the section. So I'm wondering whether the section of a celluloid Paragon can be unscrewed from the barrel or is the section and barrel just one piece?

I have now a medium nib on the Paragon, and I saw on Mottishaw's site that OMAS nibs are separate available. So I was wondering whether you can easily change the nib.

Thanks,
Hans.
