Hi Nate, from New York City. Where in New Jersey do you live?

I'm in Central NJ, in Middlesex County. Is there a good store in NYC that you would recommend to try out moderately priced pens?

Welcome Nate! I'm also new to fountain pens so haven't perused many stores but I have been to Art Brown by Rock Center & Stedvan's by Union Square and had good experiences at both. Fountain Pen Hospital & Altman Luggage, which are downtown, are other stores I've seen mentioned here but haven't been able to get down there yet. Below is the link to NYC Stores that I use.
