Hi all. I'm new here, but have been playing with FP's for a few years, now. My Grandfather owned an office supply store in Gainesville, FL for many years, and when he passed, I found a couple dozen fountain pens, still in their boxes, and from several makers. I also found a cabinet full of vintage Sheaffer parts in his garage from when he repaired the pens he sold, as well as some factory manuals.

I found a pen guy, that I'm sure you all know, and he bought much of the parts, as well as several NOS pens. He even took parts and made me a Sheaffer Statesman, so now I have a 55-year old pen that is really just 5 years old. It is one of my daily users, along with a Parker 51 Signet. I just recently ventured into the world of modern pens with the purchase of a Waterman Phileas, but I still love the vintage pens.

One pen I wish I could get my hands on is the Parker 75 RMS Queen Elizabeth (never inked!) that is sitting in its box at my Grandmother's house. My mom won't give that one up, though. crybaby.gif

Oh, BTW, here is my desk pen. It is embossed with the name of my Grandfather's store.
