For Sale: Several nice pens, all new, uninked, and not even dipped. First PM gets it, once funds received. Prices include uninsured first class USPS shipping. If pen is damaged in transit, and uninsured, I cannot help you. Insurance is additional, at cost (probably less than $2 additional)

First, two (2) Reform Bremen pens, with Medium nib, and converter. I will include a cartridge, in case you do not have bottled ink and want to get started as soon as you get it. I have one just like the two new ones, and it is a smooth, wet writer, which starts right up, even after being left in the drawer for over a month (forgot to clean it before I put it away). Routinely sold on ebay for $31 on a Buy it Now, without the converter. I will ship it uninsured first class to US for $20. PM if outside US, or you want insurance or priority mail. Insurance and priority mail is additional at cost. To save forum bandwidth, I will post links to Flickr pics.

Second, Cloisoinne Pen, beautiful pattern, Fine nib (Asian Fine, looks more like XF to me). Also uninked and not even dipped. Would love to keep it, but SWMBO insists I sell it to pay for some other pens I got. Aerometric, not sure if it is removable. Will ship uninsured first class to US for $55.00. Do not follow the photo links if you have low resistance to Asian beauty. rolleyes.gif

Third, Maki e Phoenix and Paulowina. I have coveted a Maki e since I first saw one. I have a companion to this one, with a flower design, and it is a smooth, wet writing Asian medium (MF) with a little flex, so it is easy to get line variation. Cartridge only, and I will include two. Shipped first class USPS, uninsured, to US, it is yours for $75.00. I wish my camera was better, but the pictures show some of the beauty of the pen.

Bump. Wish the pictures could be better, but I am using a Canon Powershot 640, which is not particularly well suited to macro photography.

It's not the macro so much as the very small size of the photos. I know I can't really see the pens, so I'm sure others have had the same issues.

Your camera should be able to take pictures up to 3648 pixels wide, not the 224 wide you've uploaded to Flickr.

Thank you for your input. I can resize them and upload again. I shrunk them down because I once emailed one unshrunk to a friend, and it's a 7 MP camera. I will increase size and re upload, and update the links, with a "large file" warning for those with dialup service. I will do it once I get home, as I am at work and getting ready to leave.

The nicest part about Flickr is that the link will be to a relatively small size. If someone wants a bigger pic, they can click the "all sizes" icon and select their poison. Hope this helps.

I uploaded larger pics to flickr for the pens, after Diedre graciously let me know the pics were too small. Not familiar enough with Flickr to know about being able to choose a smaller display size.

One Reform Bremen sold, one remaining. Cloisoinne of the Emperor on hold pending payment. Still have the Phoenix and Paulowina, gorgeous Maki e.

Donnie

The Cloisoinne is gone, shipped yesterday. Still have one Bremen remaining. The buyer emailed me and wrote that the Bremen is "Sort of like a glorified Sheaffer No Nonsense with a nicer nib."

Also still have the Phoenix and Paulowina Maki e and an Angelfish Maki e which I will try to get pictures of posted.

The Bremen is sold, going out tomorrow. I still have two Maki e for giveaway prices. I put a cartridge in the flower one, to test it, so I will reduce the price to $55. It is a nice soft medium nib, juicy, but not to the the extreme. I have not inked or dipped the Phoenix & Paulowina one, but I will reduce it to $70.

Phoenix and Paulowina Maki e remains, for $70. Nice low cost instroduction to beautiful artwork.
