My wife purchased some Simichrome Polish for me for Christmas, along with some other pen related supplies, but before I start putting it to use, I have a question.

Will Simichrom damage any resins, plastics, acrylics?

Curious about this too. Read the label but still would like to hear others experiences.

Go ahead and use it.

Nope, add some elbow grease and it will transform resins, plastics and acrylics into nice shiny things.

It is good for removing light scratches, for deeper scratches I use 1200-1500 grit wet and dry abrasive paper before polishing.

Be careful using Simichrome near any plated trim, it will quickly remove the plating, although I use it lightly on rolled gold caps for excellent results.

Ah, thanks much ... I was actually planning on using it to polish the silver furniture on a Delta Tuareg. The sword clip tarnishes quite easily, as well as the silver band along the bottom of the barrel.
