Hello everybody!

I just purchased a Mont Blanc Starwalker Fountain Pen, and even though its a thoroughly beautiful pen, it doesn't seem to write properly (not mine atleast). I don't know much about fountain pens, but it seems to be that there's something wrong with the ink flow, because every time i pick it up, it takes a few lines before it actually starts writing. However, once the first line's done, it seems to work just fine.

Does anyone know what i'm talking about? If so, please help me resolve this, as its so annoying....

Thanks in advance!

This could happen because ink is evaporating off of the nib and so it takes a few seconds for the ink to flow down to the nib. This can be caused by the pen not being capped. If you do cap the pen when it's not in use, the only other thing that I can think of is that the cap is not tight enough. Hope this helps.
