I am from Omaha Nebraska. I have been using fountain pens for quite a while. The old Sheaffers were my favorite when I was in grade school and through high school. I finally went to ball pens and roller balls when my wife got a checkbook that had carbons. Recently, I have gone back to the fountain pens. I use a lot of Lamy pens and find them to be, overall, the best value out there. The Studio is my most commonly used pen. I recently purchased an S.T. DuPont Olympio, and I may be a convert! I still do most of my "industrial" writing with the Lamy!

Keep an eye out for monthly announcements for the Midlands Pen Group that meets in Omaha. They are a nice group of people that enjoy fountain pens of all types. I live in MN, but have attended a meeting while in Omaha on business. It is very enjoyable and I am certain they would love to have another member.
