I love going to pen shps (what a surprise),I like it for few reasons.

The first obvious reason is of course the pens,I love looking at them, touching and dreaming who's gonna be next in my cabinet.
The second reason is because I like to talk about pens.Except once a month when we have our pen meeting I dont have the chance to talk about pen and I can talk about pens in a pen shop. The biggest problem is that most of the employees in a pen show work there because it pays their bills and not because its their passion so after few minutes of me explaining the small details about the pens in their shop and about another million things that are conected to pens you can see their eyes rolling in disbelive about all the boring data I throw at them.Usualy they are desperetly looking for a customer to serve just to get away from my cluches but for no luck their coliques will run to the customer so they will not be the next in line.
Did you see the movie "The travelers guid to the galaxy" ? well I am one of these aliens chanting their poems while the listener wants to pluck out his own eyes and ears.

No I am just kidding I am not that bad,if the employee showes interest I will chat with him/her about pens but if there is no obvious interest I will just keep staring at the beautiful pens and ask the employee to show me a pen or two.

In a pen shop just next to where I work there is a super nice lady, she always runs to me happy to show me pens even though she know I will never buy a pen there because I will get the pens they are offering for 30%-50% cheapper.

Yesterday I went to a cigar shop that sells high end pens. After 3 minutes talking to the guy at the desk he lookd at me and told me I know much more then him about pens even though he's been selling pen for few years and sadly he couldnt answer most of my question regarding few of the specific models I was interested in.

Yeah goodguy, like we didn't know that. roflmho.gif Seriously, I get the same reaction with a few employees of a local shop I go to. It's a job to them, not a passion. There's maybe one or two I can talk to, who can answer questions. And they are pretty cool, they'll stay with me even knowing I'm just kicking the tires.
