Nice looking pen Todd. You say in the description that it is a snap on cap. It looks like there are threads there too. Are they just for a better grip?

Yes, These do have threads and that's somewhat unusual for a snap on cap. I do not think they are for a better grip.

They look nice. Too bad they're sold out.

Not all of them are sold out and I have more on the way.

Update: I am expecting more in gold with fine point nibs on the 9th.

Handsome-looking pen (I got the one with gold trim), nice writer, good balance when posted (I post my pens, generally). All in all, a very good value for the money (hey, I paid less than what some European online sellers are charging ) and a welcome addition to my pen collection. My Mom's vintage Kaweco 'Dia' is a shorter, lighter pen but I am very happy with its modern counterpart.

I bought a black and gold medium and am very happy with it. The look is very retro.

I just ordered a silver Fine. A big fan of german pens but can't afford Pelikans. With the great looks and the promise of such a smooth nib, I couldn't resist this one...

So, once I get it and go to show it off -- how do I pronounce Kaweco?
